Looks cool; is it manageable single player?
I see a lot of people talking about coop but I was wondering, can this be played alone effectively? I'm watching Gawr Gura and Ouro Kronii playing this on stream and it looks cool, made me wanna buy it, but didn't wanna get stuck unable to play single.

It is possible to play solo if you prepare ahead of time each day. After just one day with the game, I was wondering the same thing. The key is to prepare before opening up each day: pre-cook meat patties, get everything ready, and then start taking orders. At Level 5, you'll unlock the ability to hire two helpers. However, currently, one helper will serve the food while the other cleans up, leaving you to handle the rest for now.

Yep. What the person above said. Just hire a server, prep before hand, and you’re good to go. I honestly think that you have to prep even with other people on the team. They do a good job at adjusting the difficulty based on how many are playing and such.

And play in "easy" mode so that customers never leave. This will be of great help (although, for some reason, one always gets stressed out at rush time) !
I regularly play this solo on normal, ten min days, with drive thru closed and I'm currently lvl +40, and as long as I prepare for the day properly I have no issue completing service with 19/19 satisfied customers.

Preparation is the key, I've found, and knowing roughly how much to prepare to get you through the day.

I made it to level 25, so far, playing solo on normal difficulty with 10min days, i did turn of the drive thru but other then that its manageable.

Do good prepping and you'll be fine most of the days. I get 23 of 23 (12 minutes) satisfied customers but no drive thru. If I do get problems, it is usually 7-8 advanced burgers in a row. Level 30+
it is playable if you prepare before opening, but in the end.....BRO HELP ME! PLEASE I"M LOSING MY MIND I'll BUY YOU 8 PIECE JUST OPEN THE GAME AND PLAY WITH ME FOR AN HOUR!
yep, I'll drag my friends to play with me, always.

I think playing single player is as fun as co-op.

At level 15 it gets very overwhelming. Even with good preperation; I cook enough hamburgers and fries in advance. It becomes unplayable as a solo player at that point if you want high customer satisfaction, in my opinion. I really hope they will add NPCs that can cook.

Are you keeping the drive thru open? I don't think I've seen any solo player keep it on after it becomes available (you can turn it off on the computer).

Thanks for this info, I was thinking of buying it but want to be able to play solo through the entire game, now I know you can't so won't be buying.

Thanks again and God bless

Everyone is preparing in advance, but do that make any sens to you? I think they will change that in the future.

It's already pretty intense at lvl 13 on normal.

It's definitely difficult once you start opening up coffee and the drivethru to play above easy mode. Fairly impossible if you don't want to get overwhelmed. It's even overwhelming in easy mode, though you have all the time in the world. I went as far as I could in normal before I just had to come down to easy. All of that said, I love it in solo mode. It's definitely not geared for solo, but I quite enjoy it. I should try multiplayer and there are random servers to play, but I just haven't yet.

By at about level 25 or so, I had to switch to 'Casual' difficulty to make single-player work. For me, that's fine anyways as it does make the game less stressful, plus I can get up to get a drink or food, go to the bathroom, or whatever.

That said, when I can assemble in a decent team in multiplayer, that is generally my preferred way to go.
