How does it work with an Xbox controller ?

Hello everyone, I would like to know if the game has the controller is planned to be improved?
-Is it painful to play with the controller? I saw in the discussions, that the menu and to place orders are not managed by the controller?
How does it work? because I would like to buy this good little game:)

I found it much much easier with a controller some parts seemed to move to slow others so fast I couldn't do what I was trying to flipping burgers way easier on keyboard I burned them crisp on a controller on keyboard I get 100 -103% cooked on each side.

I use a controller the whole time, I made a steaminput config so that when the cursor is shown it will switch to mouse movement and left/right click mouse buttons for the triggers.
