But in Warlords 3, you can either turn off seeing the AIs turn, making Turns quite fast, or just make the AI move a lot faster.
I didnt played other Warlords titles. I grew up with 3. And to me, this is one of my Favorite go to Games to get some Nostalgia, aside from having some Fun ofcourse.
Warlords 3 is one of the few Turn Based Games i do enjoy and like.
Its focused around Battles and Heroes. You have barely to no Economy to do. You build Units and try to adapt to your Enemies and the Terrain.
Its fast and for the most part well done. I do like Warlords 3 very much.
Warlords 3 on Steam but also GoG.com works very well. Cant complain. The Steam Version also runs very well on the Steam Deck and with the Steam Version you also can make use of the Steam Cloud to easiely Sync your Savegames.
Are you certain about this? If you are, please share how it's done. All I manage to do is "accelerate" the AI's turns and generally increase the animation speed. Not sure what the former does exactly, but even with that turned on, it still means that every AI side has to do their turn in apparent real time, even those moves behind the fog of war, making turns take forever.
Back then, I had assumed that the AI had spent all its time calculating shrewd moves, but now I know that's not the case...
But when the Game was "fresh" like 30 Years ago. I remember when you put the Slider at its Max, you would just mostly Skip the AIs Turns. It focuses to some Units, but they Teleport for the most part.
Im not sure if you can entirely skip AIs doing turns. But you can/could speed it up significantly.
