Wow, very nice, i waited for Warlords III. Is there any chance Warlords IV: Heroes of Etheria is coming too in a near future?

The thing is, even though I'd like to see it on Steam as well, the distribution rights to WL3 belong to SSG, but the rights to WL4 belong to Ubisoft and Infinite Int. (AFAIK). So at least there's no reason to ask for it on this subforum.

On the other hand, Warlords Battlecry 2 is still unavailable here and it actually belongs to SSG.

There's always a reason to 'ask' for it. This is the previous entry in the series that has made it to the platform that people want it on and said people are expressing their interest. It may not be an official direct contact with those who holds the rights, but it has kicked off the discussion among like-minded Warlords players.

Big thank you,i'm a SSG 'nut' thought i had all SSG Games untill recently first i find Warlords 3 so i also buy warlords Battlecry3 then ir ealise WBC3 is NOT by SSG and its kinda meh so i refunded it and today i find that WBC2 is SSG im going around in circles but am happy to find two SSG games in a week! Im trying hard to get Steam to put as many SSG games on steam they can work with Matrix and use their wargames by SSG for a start they all work on modern pc i know i have them all.

I just Have :) and then i also found WBC2 for free on GoG unlocked im about to reimburse my WBC3 because i found that too warcraft 3? and i have all WC3 games its the SSg element i'm after :) but i've installed that New one they've been making for so many years and will try it later thanks

To give you a bit of context, after Warlords 3: Darklords Rising, the original Warlords designer Steve Fawkner split amiably from SSG to set up his own studio and develop the Warlords Battlecry series.

SSG developed Warlords 4, but their publisher was unhappy with the direction they were going, and took the project away from them and gave it to Fawkner's studio to finish. Which they did, under serious time pressure.

The end result wasn't something anyone was very happy with, but they did what they could. There is an unofficial patch available on warlorders.com, which improves the AI and game balance.

Warlords 4 not worth it. W3 DLR was the peak of the series with a massive range of setup options. Just a shame this version keeps crashing. What ever GOG did was much more stable.
