Best PVE Medic & Engineer Secondary? (More Specifications in Full)

I've been trying to figure this out for a while, but I haven't come to a conclusion yet.

I'm trying to find a secondary which compensates for the lack of range that the Medic and Engineer have. I'm already aware that the Tec-9 is a great secondary for the medic, but I want to know what other weapons would be best for medium-long range. Also, I want this to be for PVE, not PVP.

I believe I've narrowed it down to this selection:

CZ 75 Czechmate Parrot

Kel-Tec SUB2000

Maxim 9

S&W M&P R8

SIG Sauer P226 C

Desert Eagle (maybe?)

I want a weapon which can reliably land headshots when I aim, and can reliably kill quickly with bodyshots at extreme range (given the unreliability of headshotting with secondaries at long range due to the limited scopes)

All of these are potential candidates. I've tried the SIG-Sauer, and despite the hype behind it being really good at range and its low damage drop, it just seemed really mediocre to me. It seemed barely better than the p99, at least for landing headshots. The P99 is adequate but its ironsights are poor for medium to long range combat, leaving me always hipfiring it.

The p99 is amazing for close-range headshots, particularly by hipfiring because the ironsights on that thing suck. Speaking of which, the pistol must have some kind of dot sight.

I also tried the Kel-tec, and it seemed to be the best option so far. It's just that... something about it is off. I think it's its mediocre damage drop at range? It's fairly good at landing headshots, it just is kind of garbage at bodyshotting at long ranges. Also, the 2x pistol scope kind of sucks too, so that doesn't help. Also, the hip accuracy for that gun is TOO much. You cannot differentiate the dot from the spread crosshairs.

The Desert Eagle apparently is bad at range but I haven't tried it. All I know is it can use scopes. And the R8 has 8 bullets, which may or may not prove to be a problem.

I just want a good reliable gun which I can reliably use either to get headshot chains, or to use whenever enemies are not within shotgun range. Since medic already finds themselves almost always using their secondary, I want to set myself up with a good one.

SIG Saure P226 C is a reliable choice, used it since 2017... Damage is good (ALWAYS USE THE EXCLUSIVE SILENCER). Maxim 9 i think is used if you want more damage at cost of ammo count and R8 for me isnt good for range.
