Forgotten Fields - Heroic Mode - Purchases don't "stick"

I can't get past the Easy 1st level of Heroic Mode. Which is OK, it is meant to be a challenge. However I have tried to purchase upgrades such as cheaper or stronger towers in the shopping cart that is presented after failing to finish that Heroic level. It does not show any upgrades purchased previously outside of Heroic Mode so I assumed that it was a separate set of purchases. I was very unhappy to see that making purchases decreased my stars but the purchase was not in effect during the next attempt and when I again failed to pass and landed in that shopping cart, my earlier purchase didn't appear. Help!

Something's definitely wrong with it. The first time i tried that, i attempted to reduce the cost of the towers; when that ddn't work (gems reduced, but stars & tower prices unchanged), i went back to the regular game... where i found that my towers were suddenly more expensive.

This is with the DLC, BTW.

I also have the DLC, perhaps that's tied to the problem. Thanks, mishalunchbox, for the comment - at least I am not imagining this!

I don't have the DLC but found the same issue.

I assumed that the purchase of tower upgrades via the store was intended to be disabled for Heroic Mode. If you go back into Regular Mode you should be able to refund all gems spent on store purchases, switch back to Heroic Mode and spend gems freely on in-map tower position unlocks or instant upgrades (rather than through the bugged store).

I only bought the tower position unlocks, but it was enough to get me through the three Heroic maps.

funny this is still not fixed... wondered why my regular upgrades were gone after trying to spend diamonds in heroic mode (which also does not work). Annoying
