Step1: go into renpy\common and open 00console.rpy

then look for

# If true, the console is enabled despite config.developer being False.

config.console = False set it to True

Step2: In game press Shift+o to open console then for metalscraps

Code:

metalscraps = amount

For skill points press Esc to open the savemenu once there use the console and type SkillPoints = [9999, 9999, 9999, 9999, 9999, 9999, 9999, 9999] to give all party members 9999 level up points.

Skill points is bugged, sometimes works other times don`t.

Thank you very much for this! The battles are so very tedious! Seriously, being able to get high skill values made the game more enjoyable because each fight didn't take several turns with constant loading.
I waited until chapter 4 when all characters were unlocked and used the SkillPoint (capitalization is important here!) cheat to give everyone 1100 points which was enough for all class skills plus other ones like survival, medicine, armour, and accuracy. The metalscraps cheat helped a lot too.
Now, if only there was a skill and attribute cheat for the second game. These cheats don't work in that one.
