This VII remake project started development in 2015 and it is still not done.
Doing this again with even larger mainlines will kill the entire franchise.
If anything FF8 would be much better choice as it has much more to gain from enhancing exploration, etc.. But please do scene combat with random encounters.
I still want that for FF7 as well.
But if 9, then 100% like the first game + complete game instead of 3 parts.
But I do think that if we're going to see a REMAKE, I would like for them to keep it 1:1 or slight changes with QoL improvements instead of doing it the FF7 way.
