And that's 100%. My mind is gone.
I don't recommend doing a 100% of this game. I had fun, but gee whiz, some of the minigames may throw you into a conniption. At least the open world business wasn't particularly tedious and most of it at least provided something relevant or worth having.

I did find hard mode a bit easier than Remake. Not sure exactly what it was, but it didn't feel quite as hard, but was still quite difficult.

Never understood the obsession of ‘getting good’ or 100%ing a single player game. It’s already a questionable investment in MMOs or other multiplayer games, unless you’re actually making some sort of noteworthy real money from it which the vast majority doesn’t. I mean…if you’re like 14 then sure go for it and have your school bus clout, but if you’re like above 20 I’ve got bad news for you.

Especially if you then come here to rant about it it sounds more like actual mental illness.

If you think that was a rant, while coming here to rant about it and mental illness, boy have I got some news for you! :steamfacepalm:
i'm with 140h still on Chapter 12 after doing every single thing in every chapter except Cosmo Canyon which i just speed ran cuz i thought i was able to finish the game before MH Wilds launch, which i clearly failed to do...

And then i reach Costa Del Sol again and all the old areas are filled with new stuff to do...

I'm just gonna play MH Wilds and maybe i'll come back to this and just rush the main story

I'm having a huge love and hate experience with Rebirth, the same thing happened with Remake

When it's actually Final Fantasy 7 i love it with all my heart

When it's something else i hate it
Did this too, only ones i thought were annoying were the last QB survival, and the 3d boxer. All the other ones didn't take long at all. Taking longer to AP farm lmao

Know a lot of people complain about the minigames for some reason, but I think they're a good shake-up.

What's the point in any kind of entertainment? It's all a waste of time anyways, right?

Anyways, I just really wanted to get the ng+ materia to mess around with it like with OG. Sucks this game is so stingy with cool materia.
Beautiful game, awful experience
(but you do YOU)
Overall I actually enjoyed 100%ing the game. Only bonds of Friendship had me stuck for a while. I had to move away from the ultra aggressive strategies everybody posts online and play a bit more conservative and suddenly I did it first try.

However, I can totally see somebody beeing annoyed by the minigames. I shamelessly used the reduced difficulty on both Fort Gondor and the Protorelic minigame right away because I remembered Fort Gondor beeing really annoying in Intermission. No point in wasting time there.
I have had less trouble with minigames than the VR battles and such.

you must be fun at parties bbygurl
The story was spread pretty thin. It would have made for more honest foreshadowing if they had just made the the black robes grunt... "M-MII....NII....GAMES....MIINII...GAMESSSS...!"
This whole minigames discourse is so overblown. I was wondering if i should make a breakdown of forced minigames occurence and length to main game time. Now, I'm definitely going to.

imo there are very few forced mini-games. Maybe... five? Almost all of them are optional and the forced ones are simple as can be.

It's going for the 100% that may drive a few people to drink however.

I did it, and actually enjoyed it a fair bit. I'm not even someone that goes out of the way to 100% games. The only thing that gave me trouble was the last QB survival in the Gold Saucer, and 3d Boxer.

Honestly I thought AP farming was way more boring than playing minigames. Took like twice the amount of time too.
