I hate her. Honestly yap yap yap yap yap. It's either OMG I LOVE MATERIA, ughgh I feel car sick or ShInRa Is BaD. No matter what she is annoying and boring.

Haven't looked at mods as I'm still doing my first play-through of the game but honestly tempted to see if there is a mod that mutes her so I don't need to listen to her at all.

I honestly don't get it. I mean I watch anime and I find them annoying there too. But especially because this game has such an amazing story and it's quite serious having this "Omg wow materia wooow" character just does nothing except take away from the story instead of adding to it

Well, that proves your point pretty clearly.

Anyway, yeah: she has a personality I 100% can understand why people find her to be intensely grating. It's really hit or miss based on personal experience.

She's nowhere near as annoying as that, and she is even less so with jp vo, but like, everyone is cringe to someone else, there will always be characters to annoy you in jrpg's ;p

1. Saying the word Materia
2. Being sick

I liked her in Remake, but here not so much. It's definitely because I was so excited after Rufus offered to make a deal and I just started hating her because she messed it up. All the other things I can live with, but that I can't forgive.

Imagine the divergence if Barret hadn’t warned him and Heidegger didn’t take the hit. If Yuffie had actually killed Rufus that would have been pretty interesting.

Yuffie is so annoying. If there would be a way to not recruit her, I would kick her out. All the "Materia" and "Haha, this is so funny", and also the one time she bullies Cloud and people say, "She is so cheerful and cute and funny". No, she is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying.

Very much agree. She basically was given far far FAR too much spotlight for what is supposed to be a minor character.

If there is any serious moment in the game if she talks it ruins the moment. It's like having verbal diarrhea at a funeral. There is a scene where Cloud literally tells her to shut up and I cheered
