Question about using Dualsense controller
Is there a way to utilize all of the controller's functionality, like the adaptive triggers and the controller speaker? I've tried looking it up, but haven't found anything.

yes, use it wired via usb
All the features work wired but you need to disable steam input.

The dualsense features work wirelessly with bluetooth as well perfectly fine.

Just tested to be sure by getting on the Segway in Costa. I could feel the resistance of the triggers. And the motions controls worked in the pirate game.

I've tried this, but it still doesn't work for me for some reason. Steam Input is disabled, cable's plugged in, DS4 Windows isn't running and interfering with things. So I'm at a bit of a loss.
Make sure that your dualsense is recognized as audio by windows, then go to control panel, "Hardware and Sound", "Sound", look for dualsense. Right click, "configure speakers", next, and then select both "front left and right" and "surround speakers".

Once it's recognized by your audio, go to your sound settings and change the audio to whatever your using as your primary sound source (for me it's my headphones).

The only thing that doesn't work is the controller speaker, it's because of the way windows uses it's audio drivers. But, who really wants to hear Chadley through their controller anyway?

How? I don't have it wirelessly. My Steam input is disabled too. I've been playing fine but I've had absolutely no haptic feedback.

Does your windows recognize your dualsense as audio? If you disabled it, then you need to turn it back on.

This was the fix.

I have been using ps4 controller for some time, steam input does work for games released in recent years. Do you have xbox game pass for PC installed? I had a problem with it before and I had to remove it to make it work again on steam.

I have the Xbox App, if that's what you mean. It doesn't say anything about Game Pass. lol
I think I might have figured it out. I had SignalRGB affecting my controller's lighting, so I disabled that and it allowed the game to use the speaker in the Dualsense. But then I was getting a crackling sound from it while the game was trying to play sounds, but not from the system test sounds through Windows. That issue seems to have fixed itself after restarting Discord, strangely enough. Not sure if my adaptive triggers are working since I haven't tested them since fixing the speaker issue, but the Haptic Feedback appears to be working correctly at least.
I don't have the DualSense, I was planning to buy it for Monster Hunter Wilds...

Anyway, I remember seeing the dev interview before the PC launch, and along with the Steam Deck verification, they announced full compatibility of the DualSense functions on PC.

They don't. I thought so as well, but the haptic feedback isn't there wireless. The adaptive triggers and motion controls will work but not the advanced haptic feedback, it will just be basic vibration wireless. There's definitely a difference, although some people might not care.

Also controller speaker will not work wireless
