Game keeps crashing with this error anyone know how to fix it?
I tried rolling back my drivers, running the game on low, replacing the .dll files and still no luck game went from crashing every few hours to every few mins since the last update.
im using a 2080TI with 16gb of ram so not sure if its my system meeting the requirements

this is a typical UE issue, do not replace the DLL files, it will do no good anymore btw (the newest dlls are prepacked in the game as of 1.01)

before we can figure out what is causing it, we need to know about system ram, and the drive you installed on.

and if any mods were installed such as hook

BUMP
I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, updated my BIOS, and re-updated my Drivers, still crashing after 15-30 mins of playtime.

use 720p low settings to test stability first , if success, try raise settings a little bit

Nope not working, lowered the game to the lowest resolution, and putting settings to low, still crashes after 10-20 mins, i always get a DXGI Removed/Hung

Okay, so you have a SATA SSD? Look, even though so far in many games the differences weren't noticeable, there are some games that require a fast SSD.

Keep in mind that the game was designed with an SSD speed of 5GB/s in mind, so I'd say it's essential to have an NVMe SSD with the maximum speed of PCI Express 3.0, which is 3.5GB/s.

Don't worry, even if it's not 5GB/s, you can manage just fine. I have the same processor as you and with a 3.5GB/s NVMe, I have no problems using the new Direct X storage

Yes sorry Sata SSD, that’s the reason the game keeps crashing constantly? Do I need to get a NVMe to fix it? Or is there a workaround solution I can do? (Before the game updated I could play for 4-8 hours without issue now the game crashes ever 10-20mins)

I'd also look at your ram friendo, some have mentioned that upgrading to 32gb has fixed some of their problems. You can test this by increasing windows page file, I guess, but it's not a long term solution. ^^''

it depends on where you are in the game, and you might crash more or less... (don't just blame the update; if you compiled the shaders after the update, everything should be fine).

Basically, before, you had to update DirectX Storage because the game would crash when it couldn't load all the textures on slow drives. But they updated it directly in the last patch...

Anyway, if you intend to change everything in a while and don't want to spend much on your system, I'd say I found the Crucial P3 (get the Gen 3 ones, which cost 25 euros for 500 GB) to be a good solution. You have Windows on an NVMe drive already, right? (Otherwise, get two)

Just went to the store today lol, bought a NVMe SSD, and DDR4 32GB Ram (made sure it was compatible with my motherboard) currently uninstalling the game and reinstalling on the new SSD hoping this will fix all my issues. If not ill Bump again :P

Do you already have Windows on the NVMe drive?

No only on my Sata SSD, but the game is still crashing ill have to try that next.

if you have Windows 11 updated to the latest version and the operating system is running smoothly on NVMew, the game shouldn't crash anymore...(That's why I suggested having two NVMe drives: one for Windows and one for the games.)

And anyway, I believe the 2080 Ti has 11 GB of VRAM, right? Could it be that you're playing on ultra settings and running out of VRAM?

They recommend 12 GB of VRAM for ultra settings, but honestly, I've seen some parts of the game where it was using up to 13.2 GB on ultra.
