1.002 still crashes with newer NVIDIA drivers
I have to use the 566.36 drivers, anything newer and the game wont start. Patch didnt fix it. GF 4090/9800X3D/W11 latest

The game was fine for me2 days ago. Now cant even get past the menus...crashes without error straight to desktop
But do you really need a newer driver than that? Srsly, I tried the driver prior to this latest one, and it had performance drops and crashed. Nothing wrong with reverting to 566.36 and sticking with it. I've seen a number of reports of other games crashing on the drivers after that one too. Rebirth doesn't seem to be an isolated case. I never once crashed or had a performance drop on 566.36 in 95 hours, which you can verify hours played if you wish.

Nothing post 50 series launch either hardware or software seems to be going well so far.

You are right, I don't mind using 566. I'm just here to report the facts in case anyone is trying to play the game but can't, they need to revert.

If you use HDR with the newer drivers you are also risking BSODs playing games with it, just all round best to avoid, no reason to really get them, unless you are using 50series, if a game does come out that needs a driver update just get the profile and drop it into profile inspector for now until the newest driver branch is stable and stay on what you are on, check on the Nvidia reddit driver page and you should get the info you need for a bunch of things, the massive amount of issues with the new branch is insane.

100% not true. Maybe for your PC... which clearly has an issue. I am running HDR perfectly fine.

This is the exact type of person I warned people about in my first comment. Right after i mention reddit a redditor comes in to tell you not to update lolol. Like clockwork.

Its a confirmed issue with the drivers from nvidia themselves lol.

Also I don't even have a reddit account btw... i just check the driver thread as someone updates the issues on it for recent drivers that don't always get listed on nvidias site unless you read the white paper on their update notes, nice of you to assume tho.

I guess the NVIDIA gods have blessed me, again. Enjoy all the issues.
I don't have issues tho?

Then why are you telling people to not update lol... you literally just proved my point.
What point is that? Just a random ramble about how you have no issues? You did the exact same thing as me, looked in the discussions for the game and seen this pop up and were interested, you provided a few things that could be causing the issue and i also did the same and just added one of the current open issues with the 572 branch of nvidias drivers, I don't see the problem?

Using the newest nvidia drivers and have no issues whatsoever. No crashes, stutters, HDR issues etc.

If the drivers themselves would be the issue everyone on them would experience the same problems.
