17GB Download? Then 137GB?
Steam decided to install an update a little while ago which took 17GB. Then afterwards, it was installing an additional 137GB randomly. I uninstalled, and started to install and the size says the game size is 150ishGB. So where was the extra 143GB coming from?

unpacking .paks and repacking them and updating game files. If you edit some chunks it need to update the whole chunk, even for a small change.

I understand, I also just found out the 17GB is the new v1.002 patch that just released.

Just says stability improvements and bug fixes so far, can't find any specifics

With the first patch, Steam tried to download the patch multiple times then eventually tried to install the 150gb again. I just uninstalled then reinstalled it.

This one may be doing the same thing and I might have to uninstall and reinstall again.

This is the only game I have had to do this for.

One is downloading, the other is patching. Reading is hard.

I've installed the update and now when I try to launch the game it says that my cloud saves are not synced (but before launching, everything serms ok from Steam interface) and I might lose all progress, I dread losing 30hrs of progress lol
