Anyway, no. No crashing and I played for 2 hours.
yeah, basically. You have to hard reset when it happens. I'd rather it not happen. Performance doesn't seem better on this latest driver so i might just roll back to be safe. That issue was really annoying.
yeah, its a driver issue with the first dlss 4 driver. i think its 572.16. I'm on a 3080. It's happened to quite a bit of people. They put out a hotfix specifically for it happening in ffXVI but it hasn't helped many people with other games. Most people don't use hdr or switch between controller and mouse in game which caused a crash for me when taking a screenshot while using controller. It's hdr that definitely causes though. Not for everyone obviously.
Well it shouldn't be happening at all. Honestly, if it still does then just roll back the drivers to the december one or even earlier. My performance is the exact same and no crashes at all. You can still put dlss 4 into the game with or without the dlss 4 drivers if thats something you do. Also, it may have just not happened to you yet and still could. I played marvel rivals for 10 minutes and forgot i left hdr on in windows and closing the game gave me a black screen as well. So it's not just this game. I have a 3080. Not sure if it's specific hardware or configs that cause it but it's not a faulty hardware issue at least. I also play on a tv.. not sure if that has anything to do with the problem.
