My most used weapon timewise was likely the Umbral Blade, and I hated it, looked like something you’d see in an MMO with its design and glowing aspect. Slipstream Saber has a similar problem, looking like it came out of some cyberpunk setting, it looked particularly silly stacked up next to Zack’s Buster Sword in the final battles.
So I feel like the ending of my NG+ Hard run I’ll be back on Buster Sword to keep the aesthetic appeal, and hopefully I’ll be able to actually give Crystal Sword a fair shake. Rune Blade is the best blend of function and style, also gets plenty of play in the original game since it’s his strongest Double AP weapon, and I actually keep using it longer than you’re supposed to there.
Of the current lineup, I'd say the Rune Blade, love the engravings and the Steampunk brass.
