Gave that a few honest shots and got screwed every time, so I'm sticking with what I accept as a reasonable price and will wait companies out if need be.
Thankfully, they were kind enough to offer a decent price point for this one.
Also like others said, there's some extra stuff in deluxe but as far as I'm concerned not really worth the excess of money. But that's your choice to make.
The items are basically useless, and the one Summon materia that may or may not be useful for you in a NG+ Hard is totally player dependent. That's assuming one even cares to do that mode to begin with also.
You could argue more in favor of the Deluxe if the the mini-Soundtrack was delivered differently, but it's heavily DRM'd with some kind of content viewer thing that you will need to log into using your Steam credentials from the sound of it.
The Soundtrack is actually protected more than the game. The game itself will be a total free-for-all for anyone who wants it on day one or two.
I'm sure the full complete soundtrack is easily acquirable also, but that makes it even more questioning why Square Enix DRM this thing the way they do.
Basically, the Deluxe Edition is a total waste of money.
