Been playing older FF games to kill time.

Started with the 13 trilogy. I could not force myself to beat LR. My god that game is set up so horrible. Time limit on just about everything and just about zero quest markers or navigation. I am so glad that Remake, XV, and XVI put quest markers in their game. It's so much more relaxing not to have a guide pulled up on one monitor and the game on another.

I am excited to play Rebirth. I don't own a console so this will be my first time. I have recently started playing XV again after years and I am enjoying it despite the fact I remember hating it years ago.

You playing FF13 on PC? I hear it had a lot of crashes.

Oh and BTW, i did a full 15 run this last fall. Had so much fun, i got the 100% even in comrades. Enjoy! Dont sleep on the DLC, that are awesome.

i've been playing FF9 myself while its not my favorite i would say its in my top 4, i played it way back on the PS1 when it came out but i never finished the game i got to the end of like disc 2 i think it is (when you reach the big tree place)

i love 13 its a great game however i've tried many times but i could never get into 13-2 its just not as good sarah is too sweet for me cant stand it feel slike iam playing a j-pop idol game and not a final fantasy and because i could never get into 13-2 i never got around to playing LR despite owning it

i've never had any problems with 13 but 13-2 does have issues, from crashes to audio issues but there are fixes for those that work for most people

Yeah I never had any crashes on any of the 13 trilogy. On Steam Deck they all started up without issue. On desktop it was a different story. I had to do a lot of work, especially with 13-2 before it would run on my desktop. I had to get an external patch and modify some settings. 13 the only thing I had to do was run it as an admin and sometimes it would take a few times to actually start up. Other than those things that was the only issues I had. LR had no tech issues, just the actual game itself was terrible.

Odd, I never had any crashes at all with any of the 13 ports.
