[possible spoiler]queens blood progression (27/28 wins) confusion and possible bug?

So I'm at before the point of no return with 27/28 queens blood players defeated and I've beaten lidrehl on that spooky hotel lobby... BUT :

1. turns out I missed the other "ghost player" that Lidrehl replaced on his "boss battle" and now I'm defeating that player would not count toward 28th defeated players (or it's possible that I've beaten him before and just forgot about this...)

2. after researching the net, I had to beat Vincent on the side of Shinra's manor but since he's already following my party, now he's not on his supposed place therefore I can't play queens blood against him...

so now my question is, am I screwed with this? is there any way to progress somehow? am I missing something?

1. That ghost that Lidrehl replaced will come back. Try fast traveling out of gold saucer and then fast traveling back - that should work.

2. I believe after you've defeated the final player, you'll be able play against Vincent - it doesn't matter that he's already in your party.

1. Except he didn't count in my game, I'm stuck at 27 defeated players

Well, either it's a glitch or you're missing one, and I think it's the latter because it's easy to miss QB players.

I ended up missing one at the Cosmo Canyon bar

I had to pull up a guide and go through the list of players and see if they appeared as check marks on my map.

Lmk which one you're missing because I'm dying to know

Missed opponents should've their icons on the map glowed up right? (As opposed to darkened after you beat them)

Yes, that's right, so it should make it somewhat easy to find. However, I still had issues, which is why I missed the one in Cosmo because these icons don't exactly pop lol

turns out it was Dale in Nibel that I missed, the poor guy was hidden on the 2nd floor of the clinic, he totally didn't appear if you didn't enter the town/house...

the ending was a bit disappointing lol, I was expecting an actual combat boss to appear, after all the evil queen could become the wife of sepphiroth or something like that lol.

I also have 27/28 and it's for sure a bug. I still have to fight the twins at under junon but it doesn't give me the option to right click on them

I have two more to go. If I want to avoid the game breaking bug are you saying I shouldn't go to the Haunted House until I challenge Vincent?

The ghost in the hotel isn’t a player, it just lets you play them afterwards in lieu of rematcing Lidrehl.

You’ve probably just missed a player somewhere. You can use the QB player quest indicator on the region and world maps to figure out where you might have missed someone.

Three players do get added in Costa Del Sol once you get full access to the Tiny Bronco.

did you guys ever solve this? I'm having the same issue with the reporter guy in cosmo canyon

Some opponents may not be available until you are certain level.

However, just like quests or items, NOTHING in the game is permanently missable.

If it's not letting you fight a particular opponent at a certain time, then finish the game and go back in Chapter Select to earlier/later chapters.

In my case, I've beaten the game, and also in hard mode, I've done almost everything, I just can't get the right click icon to show up for this one player. I'm at 27/28 players which is preventing me from getting the next queen's blood rank and completing this. I've tried uninstalling an reinstalling, also tried returning every time I changed chapters to no avail

They are not in the Map? It will say there how many you have completed over total for each region.

The only thing is if the Queen's blood in the Coata Del Sol ship is counted, that I am not sure.

The Queen's blood in wondersquare is not counted though
