Cait Sith and Red XII outfits

I’m only a few chapters into hardmode. Cait Sith and Red XII have outfits but you have to buy them at the golden saucer.

What’s the best way to go about getting them early or do you have to wait? I read once you start a hardmode chapter you have to finish it. Would I have to finish Chapter 12 early if I wanted their outfits for the rest of the game for example?

If you don't want to start over you can just wait till you finish a chapter then use chapter select to go there. Go on easy mode if you want, no penalty for it.
