Trouble in Paradise side quest (getting the legendary monster bait). This sounds too hassle; is it really?

I've done all of the side quests prior to getting MORE in chapter 12. Now the game wants me to interact more with Cosmo Canyon and Gongaga to transmute Kyrie's legendary monster bait.

This sounds too hassle, so is it? Just looking at the lifesprings/monsters I have to go to especially in Gongaga makes it seem like it really is.

not a hassle even slightly if you did regional intel.

also those fights are the few fun fights in the open world. you really should at least be getting those regional bosses
