The Great Escape

Hi,

I'm stuck at the second riddle in The Great Escape questline, where you have to repair the elevator by throwing a chest. Does anyone else think that this is impossible? I tried it for half an hour, with gamepad and mouse control, I even watched a youtube video showing how it's done. It simply does not work for me. Does anyone know if this will be patched eventually?

If it's the part where you play Cait Sith, you don't actually repair the elevator, but make it go down or up depending on how loaded it is. So you need to throw boxes onto elevator to get it down, then hop on yourself, then throw the boxes out to make the lift go back up.

As above said, you have to load the elevator with cargo (3 boxes) and the. You can access it. To get up, you have to destroy them.

You play Cait Sith, but I don't think that is what I mean. It must be a riddle before the one you mentioned. It probably isn't an elevator, but some sort of platform which is stuck, and you have to throw a box onto the right location. Thanks, anyway.

You mean, the part where you have to hit the broken pipe with a chest? So the elevator can come down?

If so, you just need to hit the right spot.

The problem is, the cursor does not work properly. I can only target the lower area, This is a bug, obviously. I wonder if there is any workaround?

You pick it up with L2 (only press once), then with R1(hold) and your left stick you can change the direction of the throw.

That way, you can reach further.
