Lighting fix?
Is there a lighting fix for the stark transitions from indoors / outdoors, It is glaring when you come out of a cave and blind when you enter for example.

Thanks!

I also really dislike weird overexposure. After turning on HDR, the image quality becomes beautiful, but the flowers and grass appear to have a strange grid pattern, and the tree leaves look like transparent flickering.
It definitely has lighting issues with or without hdr.

At one point, my screen was stark white in Junon ship just walking around and exploring. Another is during QB, my player side green amber light suddenly turned my whole player board green, making it impossible for me to see my cards. There are other times too it happens going near light fixtures and special battle light blooms.

I never found a fix and put up with it through my entire gameplay, sometimes even needing to log off and in again. Very annoying.
I like using
r.EyeAdaptationQuality=3
in the Engine.ini file, you can also try a lower value. There isn't much else you can do other than Reshade stuff or messing around with these:
r.EyeAdaptation.PreExposureOverride
and
r.EyeAdaptation.ExponentialTransitionDistance
using a value above zero

r.EyeAdaptationQuality "Defines the eye adaptation quality which allows to adjust for quality or performance. <=0: off (fastest) 1: low quality (e.g. non histogram based, not yet implemented) 2: normal quality (default) 3: high quality
