have aerith put a atb ward under yuffie and have her dodge attacks with brumal form.

Cait sith is overpowered by himself
At the time, one of the fiercest criticisms it received, both in the console release and the Win98 version, was the absence of jobs replaced by the materia system.
But if you look at the Remake series, with the characters' abilities, they tried to address the absence of jobs.
If you notice, all the FF job archetypes are present in the characters: Yuffie is the ninja (gameplay is heavily taken from FFXIV, works similarly), Cloud is the dark knight, Tifa is the monk, Barret is the machinist, Aerith is the white mage, Cait Sith is the summoner, and Red XIII is the paladin.
If you were a ninja, maybe you'd be OP too.
She was really only used as Morph spam.
