Crisis Core then Remake then this, although CC was made a prequel to the original I haven't noticed anything that would cause it to not fit in, but then, I haven't played CC since it's original PSP release so my memory could be lacking lol

Crisis core will spoil plot points in the original and this if you don't already know them. Though for all the gameplay that's in it, you could get away with watching the cutscenes from Crisis Core on youtube, or sit there through "Combat mode activated" and "Conflict resolved" before and after every fight.

You will want to play it before, to better understand some aspects of the game.
While not existing in the original FF7 on PS1, Remake and rebirth added the Story elements from CC aswell as Ever Crisis.

you don't need to play Crisis Core :: they shouldn't have wasted time on making Crisis Core remake, was not part of the original FF7 :: plus the lack of quality on Crisis Core is abismal :: just don't buy it, not worth it :: Itergrade + Yuffie DLC before playing reborth

play og -> watch advent children -> Crisis core -> dirge of Cerberus if you care -> remake ->rebirth

can anyone say if dirge of cerberus has any relevant plot points or was that a complete vincent spinoff?

If you havent played the og ff7, dont play crisis core. Crisis core will spoil the biggest plot twist thats supposed to happen in the next title

I would recommend Crisis Core remake and OG FF7. I just played the CC remake and had a blast. The writing in OG FF7 is a million times better than Rebirth. The new plot changes are stupid. I just finished Rebirth but if I could go back in time and un-play it, and do a replay of OG FF7 in its place, I would.

I would not play it if you care about story and did not play OG.

Outside of the fact that Crisis Core sucks as a whole, it also spoils everything because it assumes you already played OG

Definitely not Crisis Core. It has nothing to do with Remake/Rebirth. It's a PSP game released as addition to OG FF7 to expand it a bit. Playing it without playing OG or all parts of remakes is just plain stupid.
It's not a good game either, you lose nothing by not playing it.

The important thing you need to knw is crisis core is a prequel and will spoil the plot twist of ff7 (both og ff7 and the remakes).

If you alr knw the plot of ff7, then you can safely play it before the remakes. If not, you may want to play OG FF7 first or wait until you finish p3 of the remakes.
