Piano minigame

I feel like this minigame may have been created by someone that has never seen a piano in their life. The controls make no sense on controller or keyboard. I could understand them being awkward on a controller but a keyboard literally has keys that could be played like a limited range piano.

You know how many notes you'd need to play a song? You'd have your whole keyboard full if you wanted one for each note. Also, not awkward on controller at all, unless you don't know how to operate the joysticks

I heard that controller has some form of aim assist so it's easier there. Keyboard is no bueno

As I said "limited range piano". There are only 16 notes in the mini game, 8 for each circle, not nearly 100 as there would be on a full piano.

I think I could learn to do that before I could do this mini-game.

P.S. Still waiting for a karaoke game where I can use a microphone to sing the fraggin' song and have the game grade that.

Someone mod in the Rock Band Pro Piano Controller!!!!!!

I don't know if it's video editing mastery or that player has the touch... but seeing people play other songs on the in game piano is amazing.

I will say it seems to be far easier to play on steam with an xbox controller than it was on PS5 with it's controller. Maybe they tweaked the sensitivity so a thumb stick returning to center didn't read as another note being played.

Yeah real piano is miles easier, I still managed to A all of the songs (i think there is one more to unlock) but I got da achievement earlier today.

Some people were saying stick another person on the left and you do the right if you just want to get em done for the reward.

They used to have "twitch sings" which basically did that. It was pretty dope but literally like a month after I found it they took it down.

I had no problems with a controller. Can't say what the keyboard would be like.

I had a lot of trouble until I set the speed to 3-4. Try increasing the speed, I saw many people reporting that it helped.

The piano was recycled from FFXIV... basically, there with the bard job, you can play the harp and other instruments (there's also the piano, but it was originally designed for the harp), so they simply recycled the bard system for the piano forte (but besides the piano, I've seen so many things taken from FFXIV in this game) i mean the free mode

Yeah this mini game is horrible...
Requiring it for achievements is dumb.

The main thing that bothers me is the mini-game depends on the analog sticks which don't register a proper input unless you move to the outer edge or go messing with the dead-zones of your sticks just for this one mini-game...
