That is if what you're trying to to do is swapping DLSS ;)
If your trying to swap dlss or enable rebar etc, this updated profile inspector is far easier
No file swapping needed you can just select what you want to overwrite etc
Just drag the correct ff7 .exe into it and it will create a profile.
None so far. If i install it manually with profile inspector, it'll introduce shimmering, which in general makes moving small objects (like grass) look horrible
the shimmering and flicker will happen with dlss 4 its not trained for this game , and if your injecting it also your not using the new transformor model or w/e i think that only is for ray reconstruction and framegen though.
If you use the dlss 4 it seems to do better with a higher resolutions so 33% scaling looks worse. You could try to get rid of the shimmering you have by doing a higher res.
But honestly it bothered me to much so i just went back to default.
the new presets do render more clearly better image quality its just that in this game it causes the flickering you see. Some people are not as sensitive to some tree's flickering and just use it. Its really just preference.
You can see all kinds of people who will say use preset K its better tons of videos etc. Very few people show the downsides that happen from it in this game.
So simply try it if you don't like the bad stuff go back to original.
I think the new preset even has a performance cost of probably around 1-2fps its just a little clearer. Honestly i only see the bad stuff. Image quality looks the same.
Once that profile is created the override settings also show up in the Nv App - scroll down below the graphics settings - N.B. if you just see an error then re-install the Nv App
However the quality level override still doesnt work - it still follows the game settings - i.e. 100% or 66% - Ive had no luck setting it to Quality - has anyone solved this ?
