Chocobo Racing causes acessibility issues
Hello, i have chronic pain in my arms and hands, i always look for ways to minimise having to hold down buttons

Today ive made it as far as the gold saucer, and done my first chocobo race. Having to hold A to keep moving for the entire thing is torturous. It was a very painful experience that i did not enjoy.

This is really unnecessary, there's not much need to not keep moving, please let it be a toggle like with sprinting in the overworld. Or heck, remove this whole feature entirely and just let us use the analog sticks for moving the bird.

Surely moving the stick forward is enough of an indication that i want to go forward. Why must i also hold down an additional button to confirm this? it seems redundant

An another solution would be to have a gamepad with that said feature. There must be something like that out there.
There are software solutions that allow you to toggle a continual hold with a single press. Steam input might even have that function. If you do end up using Steam input for it, make sure to turn it off after you're done; it introduces significant input delay and will make other parts of the game borderline unplayable.

If you guys have any more specific info on how to accomplish these things with software, i am interested. I'm struggling to see a way it'd be workable
