Favorite Scene or Chapter?

What's everyone's favorite scene or chapter so far?! I haven't reached the part yet but for sure it has to be the loveless performance for me

Yeah you might but the 98% of OTHER PEOPLE who haven't finished the game yet, might not, try thinking of them before shouting at people...

and it is 98% of people on steam because only 1.9% have the chapter 14 acheivement.

The Loveless performance was my least favorite. It's overdone at this point, FF6 was 30 years ago, can we please stop trying to recreate the opera scene?

My favorite scene in this game is the same moment i think you are talking about. I know on the surface that sounds just as bad, and yes, I hear it too, but this "Remake" has diverted from the original so much that I legitimately didn't know if the most iconic part of the original would still happen, and even after seeing it, I still wasn't 100% sure.

There is a lot I don't like about these new games, but I do think one thing they are doing right (provided they NEEDED to change something) was to play with our expectations. For the first game, I dreaded every moment I spent with Avalanche because they took characters that were mostly forgettable and expanded on them, all while knowing that we knew exactly what would happen. Even if we didn't play the original, it was still done better in every way.

This game knew that we knew and when that critical moment happened they clearly took advantage of that tension.

I unfortunately did not play the OG so I don’t know much but knowing that is kinda sad, I do know they changed or just skipped a few things which i was disappointed in but I can’t say much unfortunately :(

Cloud going badass dodging the bullets and overkilling the Shinra soldiers at the reactor Tifa "falls" into. Also Yuffie (best girl) kissing Cloud

I loved Mt Corel Ascent. That song is my jam. I listen to that in my real life car, haha! The level is kinda neat looking too.

Gongaga kinda grew on me. Eventually, I think it became my favorite to explore. Could be Stockholm Syndrome. Shrug.

And, Nibelheim had the best chocobo, because "obviously."

Cloud and Zack Synergymove on Sephiroth
Aerith joining the fight as Cloud fights against Sephiroth (my thoughts were: oh boy, seph is in trouble....wait, didn't i rob her of all materia?)

No promises to keep (esp. with Aerith as Date). "uhh...lame musical number - oh i got something in my eyes, i am not crying. you are crying"

Gold saucer opening
