You came up with a claim, I just doubted yours. I didn't even have to provide evidence according to logical standards, but I still did with the stock price, and you agreed. Not sure why you don't anymore.
Doesn't mean anything when a product fails when you develop like, at least a few concurrently and you run one of the two most successful current MMO's atm. You're too focused on single things.
It's so bad faith, it's almost cliche
well at least this time you've provided something. Yes they are doing decently with phone gacha games and MMO, although even that MMO is faltering now with recent news. However, compared to SE's competition, I wouldn't call it doing well.
Also I guess this means you agree that FF series is doing poorly. You've mentioned their MMO, which might have FF names to it, but in terms of other FF game release, I don't see any other argument here. I'll take your silence as agreement that FF series is failing.
You claimed SE isn't doing well.
Reviews mean nothing for a mmo.
Clearly you haven't played FFXIV, it has a very, very, veeeeeeeery loyal playerbase that are veeeeeeeeeeery into their character and baaaaaaarely plays the game. ;p
I do not agree it's doing poorly, no.
Of course if you imagine things about me that suit you, it's much easier to argue against me.
The only thing you have is "Square said FF16 underperformed", soooo.... don't go setting goalposts for me, you haven't met any. ;p
Meanwhile, VII Remake sold well and, while we don't have the numbers, Rebirth keeps being cited as a top seller.
You're trying to use their alleged other failures to erroneously make the case that this trilogy is bad.
do you have the necessary chops and information to interpret square's financials ?
I'd like you to share them with me, if the numbers point towards your interpretation of it, I'll gladly accept it. I'll take like, actual financial documents from square, not an article or a random quote from a dev.
You know, real data that I can interpret myself. ^^''
I don't know, you're the ones fixated on how much it sold.
Realizing that Remake's over 7 million figure from a few years ago, is higher than most video games ever sell.
I love how you're taking shots at FFXIV, when it is basically universally considered the top of genre in MMORPGs. And, while we're at it, XI was successful to. Still going after over 20 years.
Yes and I've backed up my claims.
I said news, not reviews. Recent news said active players for FFXIV dipped below 1 million, which is not a good news.
Well entire thread was about recent FF games not doing well because fan-fic style low quality writing, and you bring up entire SE as a company doing well.
Who is the one that is moving goalpost?
