you didnt have to download the whole game again.....you downloaded the 17 gig patch then it started to actually go thru your files and patch it

no bro, like i said, i download the full game data. that's why i'm confuse. well maybe it's just happened to me. and before patch i can solve the stutering issue by replacing dlss with the new version, but after the update it's not work anymore. hope you understand what i said, cz i'm not that good at english :)

no, you did not download 137gb, but the steam did need to shuffle data for that amount. If steam made you redownload 137gb, it's an issue with steam or your install, not the game.
patch is fine, it absolutely resolved issues for many people, which might be an indication that your issues aren't related to the game.

If you are running AMD GPU, game has problems running on those, so yes, you will encounter stuttering and crashes. This is an issue on AMD's side, it's in the known issues of your latest drivers. It's on them to fix it.

Steam changed the way it shows downloads, it shows 2 sizes if you click on the downloads page, it shows 17,7gb download and it shows 127gb that's already on your disk but the patch needs to copy over, it can take a while depending on drive speeds and things but the download part is only 17.

No, it said it would be a 19.5GB update but it's actually downloading the whole game again

yeah this patch solved nvidia stutters for a lot of users, apparently, I've never had them myself, or at least never noticed, I watched a video of these stutters and I'd have noticed lol.
So maybe there is things you can do on your side, hard to tell without having more info or the pc in front of me

no it didnt, see the first blue bar? that is the download, it was 19 gigs, see the green bar that is disk used for the update, steam reports the disk usage when done rather than report the download size.
if you dont have 2.5x the game space in free storage, steam will download the game to a dummy drive like your G or F drive, to update a game on your C drive, its dumb, but it happens, doing it to me too making me download all 128.2gigs. which is whatever my download speed is 787mbps.

its a steam problem with how they manage data on your drives. alot of times you can see this in task manager youll see a different drive at 100%
