Please Fix Glide de Chocobo
I'm begging you. This is the one and only mini-game I absolutely dreaded getting to again after playing it on the PS5.

The camera is absolutely atrocious and basically requires you to play with inverted controls to be able to see the course.

Additionally, the hitbox of the rings is EXTREMELY different from their visuals.

I thought that of the piano minigames as well at first, then I figured it out and it is not as bad as I thought. You only have to move the control stick in 1 of 4 directions, even though there are other notes. For example, the 3 notes at the bottom, if any of those notes light up, you only have to push down, you don't have to push diagonally for each note. Pushing down covers all 3 of those notes. The same goes for the other directions as well. Once I figured that out, it got a lot easier. It is not perfect, but a lot better than it could have been if they made you do each note individually.

Use the Flingtrainer for glide de chocobo.

The chocobo glide mini game became a lot less frustrating once I figured out you can backtrack quite a bit using the air currents. Especially useful on the last part of the 3rd course.

Yeah, I finished it again after a couple dozen tries. My main issue is still just the camera - it's annoying as hell not being able to see the next target I'm aiming for when I'm going back up after diving - and then the fact that there were several times where the 500 point targets wouldn't register a hit despite *clearly* going through them.

yea the rage I feel when I clearly go through the edge of a ring and it doesnt register...

You can always report it towards Square Enix support hopefully they will patch it up making me wonder did the developers play this mini - game and whats up with them
You can invert the controls by changing the camera inversion settings. IDK why they did this, but for some reason they tied mini-game movement settings to the camera. Set Y to inverted and X to normal for the usual flight controls.

I play normally with Inverted Camera, but I have to change back to normal for the Glide controls to feel right. I wish I could just hit a hotkey or quickly change a setting in the console to swap it. Having to go into settings and switch then switch back every time I glide somewhere is annoying.
