Cloud Save Won't Download to My PC
Hi, hoping to get some help or guidance here. I've put about 4 hours into the game (loving it so far) on my steam deck. I downloaded the game on my PC and it can't download the steam cloud save -- my steam deck says it successfully uploaded it, but my PC will say its 'Out of Sync', ask if I want to retry the sync, when i click 'Retry' it says 'Checking' but never updates from that.

has anyone else run into that or know what i can do about that?

Find the save file goes and then check to see if the folder is set to read only. That's usually the culprit.
In my experience you need to run the game on the last platform you saved from which sounds like the Steam Deck in your example. SO dip in and out real quick and try your PC again. It would fix it for me when I'd play Satisfactory at work on GeForce Now and get home and play it on my PC.

windows wont let me remove the read only :( i turn it off, but then when i go to check the properties of the folder again its back to read only

the problem is that on my steam deck it says that the steam cloud is up to date, but on my pc it says its out of date and then when i click retry it just infinitely is "checking"
