Steam Deck mod installation

I’ve heard that installing two mods could greatly benefit the games performance and visuals (Literally all I want is just performance fixes and a few general improvements) but due to the mods I’m trying to install being Windows based, with Linux as an option yet not really spoken properly about, it’s impossible for my dingus brain to figure this out.

Can anybody atleast lend some assistance please?
For FFVII Hook I’ve pretty much just put the files in and that’s it so far, I’m on the ‘engine’ step.
