DX12 is not supported on your system issue!

Hi,
I have been trying to play the game for 3 days now but it keeps giving me the error of "DX12 is not supported on your system, try to running the -dx12 or - d3d12 command line argument"
My system supports DX12 and above minimum requirements, I tried to run it using -dx11 in lunch options and it gave me fatal error message. anyone can help? I'm so devastated

If you are running a GPU from the GTX 10xx/16xx Series and RX 500s/5000s (Anything that isn't RDNA 2) then you cannot run the game.

Only the GTX 16xx Series can run this game with a workaround since they are the only card in this list that supports Mesh Shaders. If you have a GTX 16xx then google the workaround or go to Geralt Benchmark's Channel and click on the 1660 SUPER FF7 Rebirth benchmark vid he should have it linked in the comments.

Yea, I am also a 1660 SUPER User so I can personally say that thew workaround does work and I have about 19 hrs in the game (ch 4 so far) it performs quite okay, I cheated by using Lossless Scaling so that the experience could be smooth.

You own a potato. Google the workaround so you can play it and have it look like crap. You should also read the minimum and recommended spec for games since you don’t own a god machine.

being poor ? you managed to buy this game arent you ? gaming is luxury if you have no money then take the time you waste for gaming and use it for making money, otherwise stop complaining about your Dicisions in live and blame somewhere else then you for your Mistakes, just stop it.

The people are right, since you have a very low end PC why you do not read the Recomended spezifications ? This is not the first and wont be the last game that will need better hardware to even start the game in this year.

What you call a very low PC, I earned it working OVERTIME!!! you live under the rock and you don't know how people live outside your bubble.
