That's Unreal Engine alright. I couldn't exactly tell you why this works, but memory errors like this can often be fixed on Unreal Engine by changing your computer's page file from being automated to instead setting a manual page file of a pretty big size (like 20GB) on an SSD. The way I understand it is that this prevents the game from randomly trying to use more memory than it has been allocated, causing a crash even if there is more memory to use.

I did this myself after frequently getting crashes like these in a few games -- mostly UE ones -- and ever since I did the fix it hasn't happened again in any of them.

Completely forgot page files were a thing, setting the game to 720p from 1440 fixed it for me but I'll look into page filing.

I mean I'm glad it stopped happening, but yikes. You should not have to play this game at 720p with the hardware that you have. I really hope that the page file fix works or that something else ends up solving your issue so that you don't have to play the game as a blurry mess.
