My game's been running mostly pretty well maxed out on my 3080 rig. Some small hitches here or there, but otherwise mostly stable. For an open world style game, it runs way better than XVI did maxed out on my hardware.

Oh yeah very true, when I finished all the content, I immediately uninstalled lmao. Especially with how badly it overfilled VRAM on a 3080 at 1440p. Like, yeah sure 10GB VRAM ain't much today, but the fact that Rebirth both runs better and stably than XVI does kinda shows how the latter fumbled hard with optimization, especially with a game that doesn't even have vast open spaces like Rebirth does.

Censorship is still censorship. And burning your artistic freedom because it hurt peoples feelings is just as stupid.

Update is weird, I have a gen 4 nvme corsair 850x and disk usage is painfully low. A lot lower than usual

IDK why DEI is seen as imaginary when there is a clear trend, the ceo of blackrock mentioned it and wanting to push it onto companies and f me i've even be interviewed by companies they literally mention DEI and how they follow it and are proud of doing so.

Like it literally exists companies openly talk about it and yet people say it's imaginary?

whether you care about DEI stuff or not is one thing, i'm putting politics aside here. It's a thing that literally exists

Sounds like a your PC issue, doesn't happen to me.

Might be a my PC issue, however I tried numerous hardware adjustments.
Happens on two Desktops and on the Steam Deck.

4070 STi / i7 / 48GB Ram / 2TB NVMe SSD other is like a potato to check if it happened there too. Wish there was a simple solution, glad you don't experience it though.

Do you run any .ini's or mods? I might try those.


It's not your PC, the game just suffers from extreme pop-in and doesn't even use the latest update of direct storage DLLs. something that will most likely be addressed in this most recent patch. The only mod worth using is the one that updates direct storage, assuming you are using an NVMe.

Most other mods will just decrease your FPS because they are pushing the render distance or other graphical fidelity options beyond ultra just to "bandaid" patch the pop-in.

Not sure what the patch fixed in general but I experience a better frame rate 180 avg, 167 1% lows on 1440p and the amd crash seems to be gone (I'll edit the post if the crash still happens later on, if not its all good)
