Can't Start FF7 Rebirth, DX12/-d3d12 command line argument
Spent roughly 14 hours installing. Attempting to launch results in the Error Message "DX12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument."

I ran DxDiag
Windows 11 Home
Acer Nitro AN517-52
Intel core I5
DirectX Version: DirectX 12

I have previously played though all of FF7 Remake Intergrade on this same system.

Yes I just ran Windows Update and Just updated to

You need a mesh shader compatible graphics card (directx 12_2)

we can't see what your GPU is, but I am pretty sure it does not meet minimum system requirements. Direct x12 might be installed, doesn't mean you support all of its features with your hardware.

Your GPU is not officially supported, but there is a workaround for GeForce 16 series GPUs that you could try.

If you have a GTX 16XX series video card this post links to a DLL that works.

Had the same error, but with that dll file the game runs and plays perfectly fine, just as good as intergrade.

Note: not sure if latest update will affect this

Edit: seems to work even post-update
