Can't beat titan
I'm level 23. I did all the shrines, and I can't beat him at one star strength. No it's not a GeT GoOD situation. I'm counter blocking him every time as cloud. I use red for more counters. I have barret as a healing tank casting prey all the time. It all goes good till I run out of mana, and have no way to get more mana cause I'm not allowed to use items like I was in remake. How are you suppose to clear this boss? Only other thing I can think of is to wait till I can get the prey materia on everybody, or wait till I level up more. I was hearing how people were defeating him on low levels, but I just don't understand how that is possible with such low MP. I don't have my wind materia leveled all the way it might be that, but there just not enough mana to finish him off at this level. I get him down to 50% health, and I'm basically dead when there no more mana to cast wind, or healing. Thoughts?

If you are struggling to beat him on the super easy mode version for babies, then yes, it is a "get good" situation, because you are extremely, extremely bad at the game. Titan is pretty tough at full strength when you first unlock the fight, but that's night and day from minimum strength which should be a cakewalk.

Leveling the wind materia for Aero II really helped me. Other than that I don’t really know what else I did…also beat him at one star. Ngl, the combat can feel a bit janky at times, so just keep trying, mash buttons going through every character to fill their ATB and spam your menu attacks.

hit with wind once->focus thrust twice->braver braver braver->phase change->break shell->go back to start
indeed, git gud

let me tell you something. once he's pressured, there are skills that are really useful, cause they fill the stagger gauge faster. some of those abilities are Focused Thrust, Focused Shot(will spend all your charges, so, it works way better with your ATB full) and Focused Strike. the names kinda give it away, but it's usually on the description that they "increase stagger"

once you stagger him, spam braver with cloud, maximum fury with barret and it's better if you go with tifa, so you can use unbriddled strenght twice at the start, and press triangle twice to use her unique abilities, and use the atb you generated with divekick

save your mana for two things. pressuring him with aero(once he is pressured, don't use it again until he's up and you can pressure him again) and healing. he will blow up in seconds and you'll probably feel like an idiot once you win cause it was really easy

you might be overcomplicating by focusing on timing parries, you can roll over him without ever parrying once
did you look for the divine shrines? if you havent get them it unlocks weaker versions to beat dont worry about defeating the weakened version you still get the full power if you find them all

The difference between full strength and only 1 shrine reduction is a massive reduction in difficulty. I cant imagine struggling against the weakest version of the boss.
He has a unavoidable undodgable attack that wipes out half your HP,and you all call him easy. This isn't suppose to be dark souls.

I suck at games and beat him at his full strength so yes it is doable.

Getting the shrines unlocks the weaker version, but maybe you aren't selecting it? You get multiple options - you need to change the selection to the last one or you'll fight the hardest version.

Make sure you assess the Titan and read what it says about putting it under pressure - but really you should be able to do OK just flailing away at the thing and tossing out the occasional heal and ability.

Been trying to do that for the past hour anything I do does barely any damage to it
Just to let you all know I played elden ring and those bosses were easier than titan.

Yes this was it. I was selecting the first one which is slightly weaker. I thought that was his weakest level. I'm dumb. Appreciate it
