If this is a game where you can skip the precompile/precache of shaders, than they would be compiled as needed, which could cause some issues, lag spikes and possibly other graphical bugs. The stalker 2 game allowed you to skip the shader precompile phase if the game had previously crashed in that phased, and that could cause graphical issues in that game.
yup that's the one
might also be AMD/NVIDIA related? as NVIDIA has an option to change the cache size and AMD doesn't. i'm on AMD
looking at the location that the nvidia drivers save the driver managed cache files(under AppData\LocalLow\NVIDIA\PerDriverVersion\DXCache), the game does save cache data there as well. there's some 428mb of cache data there with modification time in the past week(with the same hash id.), since i first ran the game.
the cache file dropped to 1024kb lel
looks like i'm cooked and might have to format my pc again to change my windows drive.
but ya around 250~MB
C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!!!!
but the size of my game cache still is stuck at 2048, and i don't know why.
you guys are all using NVIDIA? or is there someone that answered using AMD?
