How's it running on Linux?
Just a question of curiosity. Besides the steam deck, how is it running for the rest of you using Linux. For example, Ubuntu, arch, fedora, Et cetera.

Runs fine. with the same issues as everyone else with dx12u
Nvidia has critical bug in Linux driver, so it is impossible to play on Nvidia cards regardless of car model or Linux distributive you use. This is a first game for probably last 5-6 years for which I had to switch to Windows, my emergency Windows ssd from the shelf came handy at last.

It's good you have a back up plan.

On my side - Linux Mint, AMD, flawless experience without any crashes

Smooth 4K/60 here and no crashes on Ubuntu 7900 XTX. Remake hadn't been great (albeit I had a 6700 XT) so I was really happy thinking they did Linux justice, but then I came to the forums and a lot of people still seem to have problems, so I'm not sure what to think. Also, I haven't had much luck figuring out how to get the frame generation/Optiscaler working on Linux. I'm kind of a noob.

I'm running Ubuntu 24.10, I can confirm the big issues with Nvidia drivers. Whatever the version of the driver (included latest beta for RTX 5xxx) or the version of proton is used (even bleeding-edge), ground textures are missing so the game is absolutely unplayable.

Solution : switch to windows or play with the integrated graphics unit on CPU (AMD) in low quality at 25fps 😅

the performance is better compared to windows for me. i got better fps in cachyos but the microstuttering is there and been better after using proton hotfix. im using r7 5800x + 6700xt + 32gb ram in 1440p monitor and only in linux i can play with 100% max min resolution because the performance is better

I can't bring it to work on Kubuntu. It gives me a DX12 Error although I have a RX6700XT that's definitely good enough for DX12 Ultimate. GE Proton didn't work either, nor special launch options :( Anyone knowing a fix for this?
