Nvidia’s New DLSS4 “Preset K” Works With Rebirth
Posted a video on how to enable DLSS4 in Rebirth last week. Today, we have an even newer version of DLSS4 that also works with Rebirth so I thought I'd share how to enable it in "unsupported" games. Hope this helps.

I was able to get the DLSS override working (without having to replace the game's DLL as seen in the video), confirmed working with latest DLSS version and preset k with DLSS debug overlay: https://imgur.com/a/6bGPLYd

1. Make sure you have the new nvidia driver.

2. Download nvidia inspector (latest version from https://github.com/Orbmu2k/nvidiaProfileInspector/releases). Older versions crash with the new nvidia driver.

2. Add a profile for FF rebirth. IMPORTANT: The .exe that you need to add to nvidia inspectior is the one from the End folder: ...\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH\End\Binaries\Win64\ff7rebirth_.exe. If you use ff7rebirth.exe from the game's root directory, it won't work.

3. For the rebirth profile that you added in step 2, change these settings:

Enable DLSS-SR override - 0x00000001 (this enables the nvidia DLL override)

Override DLSS-SR presets - 0x0000000B (this enables preset K)

Launch the game and you should see that it's using DLSS4 (without needing to replace DLL) and preset K. You can edit a registry key to show DLSS debug info in game to confirm: https://www.pcgamer.com/nvidia-dlss-indicator/

It seems less over sharpened then preset J, but I haven't had much time to play with it yet

I know I can find it here. Literally looking to force enable it.
The hair and grass is still weird looking.
Just a quick test, found K gave me some horizontal banding and ghosting on distant objects vs J.
Im not impressed with it on the 5090.

Without replacing DLL it will stay at Preset J as I checked from the showdlssindicator registry thing.
Preset K definitely works for me without replacing the DLL, you can see that it's active in the screenshot from my post (showdlssindicator on bottom left): https://imgur.com/a/6bGPLYd

It's override.you can set sr,fg and rr use override.driver will override each dll by the one in driver newest.
Has anyone been getting an issue when you override to dlss4 and use the j or k preset and sometimes if the camera get turned to a certain spot or im just riding the chocobo I get these crazy black texture freak outs but if I use like preset C none of that happens. Is this just a dlss4 preset issue?
I can't find Enable DLSS-SR in Nvidia Inspector. I've already dropped the CustomName file into the folder too.

All I have are the DLSS3.1.11+ stuff.

What am I missing?

Many thanks in advance!
