4090" "5090" and "max settings" don't belong in the same sentence with "optimized". That is known as an oxymoron

True. I was really looking forward to the NVIDIA Game Ready drivers today hoping it would fix the performance issues. Even with a 4090 I turned the resolution down to 1080p with min settings and upscaling on and still would see stuttering in Nibelheim. It was mostly playable without the fixes I mentioned above. Super bad in town but out of town the stuttering wasn't too horrible. But it shouldn't be there at all. So after not seeing a fix in the driver update, I was tired of waiting and got all the community fixes that shouldn't be necessary. But if a 4090 has studders at 1080p low with upscaling on and fps cap at 60 then I can't imagine how minimum requirement PCs are running.

But the community did a good job. With the additional graphics settings mod and without DLSS4 I'm getting lows in the 110s and average around 130 with highs in the 140s at 4k. With DLSS4 I get 180-200 FPS at 4k. But most importantly, NO STUTTERING.

"Does it really need to be optimised" And then you have a GPU that costs as much as a full PC build, combined with the fastest CPU on the market that only just released. Could you be more tone deaf?

Sorry your poor
Performance is better for the game without lossless scaling, but it's not better than the last driver was WITH lossless scaling. Considering rolling back myself

Nowdays even a RTX 2060 can hit 200 fps in this game, what a clow show you are, dont even understand the performance of a 4090 with a 9800x3d, you really think you hig 200 fps ? so how much faster is the 4090 then a 4080 super ? i bet you belive it is 2x faster then the 4080 super.

Hey it works excelent on my 9800X3D with LN2 at minus 100celsius at 8GHZ and 5090 OC LN at 30GHZ , it gets 200fps it is very optimized oh yes how smart I am hahah

pls close this ♥♥♥♥

I've noticed that CPUs with fewer than 8 cores tend to experience significantly more stuttering. I run everything at 4K, so I opted not to go for a high-end CPU. I'm currently using a 5600X paired with a 4090, and before the recent driver update, performance was noticeably poor—especially once you reached the first town. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be anything I can do to improve this. Lowering the resolution or adjusting the LOD only offers marginal performance gains.

It appears that having extra cores might help manage shader compilation better, or at least make any performance issues less noticeable. I'm planning to test the game with a 9800X3D soon to see if there's any improvement.

For me it works fine since the patch

Ok? What system are you running on, at what resolution etc. Saying it's just running fine after the patch does not tell us that much I'm afraid.

The release of Rebirth on PC is embarrassing, not even Nvidia cared to give it a GRD or app profile.
A fart in the wind.

100%
I'd say its marginally better at best. I think I got a smoother performance difference with the new direct storage dlls
[Ryzen7 3700x nvidia 2060Super-new nvidia drivers] yet playing the first hours on Kalm and exploring etc etc game runs "fine i guess" 50-60fps 1080p with dlss 66% maxed out (i know i know) but time to time from nowhere the FPS drops to 25 and then back to normal.

i dont know if its placebo but with new Nvidia drivers 66% dlss feels very clean now.

i dont expect better performance for me but i need a fix those insane FPS drops.

The game still crashes for me on entering combat. That's not very "everything works".

Understand that for other people things are different. And with stuff like bug fixes and driver updates people rarely ask for them for the wrong reasons.
561.09 everything has been working fine since it was released no bugs.
