please send help - junon elevator buttons are missing

After I do the dolphin thing, the junon elevator interact buttons are missing, effectively hardlocking me out of my save file. Any ideas of how to fix this? I really don't wanna do Fort Candor all over again. some guy on reddit had the same issue and couldn't fix it either lol

I... To the BEGINNING of the entire AREA, or going up through the dolphin segment? I'm also hitting this issue. Particularly, the middle area from the aircraft deck down to the main of the upper Junon city. There's 2 elevators, and both bug. I've gone back a short period, but not redoing the Dolphin, and I *PRAY* I do not need to restart the entire area. I finished damn near everything...

For me just saving and reloading and then walking into the buttons caused the action button to come back up.

Someone found a solution to reload to the last checkpoint from the main menu - it takes you back to the dolphin minigame, you have to play it one more time, go through the cutscenes and the elevator buttons should be there. Unfortunately it doesn't work for me, but it worked for some people
