I have bought the game but not played one single minute, because of how garbage this performs with AMD graphics. I don't want to spend 2 hours troubleshooting and not being able to return the game. I sent Steam a message asking when is the last day I can get a REFUND. By my math you got less than a week. I want to support games that have a good story and from what I saw regarding PlayStation reviews this game is that. I expect if it is Steam Verified or I am running it on Windows it should work. Especially with recent hardware. I may buy the game at a later date but I promise it will be when fixed and on sale at a good discount.

Your post doesn't make sense, bad attempt at trolling.

People here can try and help you figure out what's up, but not if you don't list any of your specs at all.

Not trolling. Mad that I paid full price for a game that is from what I have read will be buggy on my PC. Along with the DLC being sad. I only have maybe 30 minutes at night to game. I don't want to spend my free time troubleshooting stuff. (Unless I plan to spend a good chunk of my day fixing something). Going off memory my specs are:
Ryzen 7 3800XT
ASUS ROG B550E
32 GB Corsair Vengance (3600 or 3200)
AMD 6750XT
Samsung 1 TB SSD
EVGA 750W Gold power supply

Ah, there's your issue probably. Some AMD cards have been having substantial issues, and it's being worked on from both sides, with AMD at work on updated drivers and SE at work on a patch.

It's true that, odds are, this isn't going to run properly for you until some drivers/patches get going. A few days at least, maybe a week.

My personal opinion, for what it's worth, would be to just let it sit for a week or two until that happens. You could refund it, but I suspect you got it at the sale price. If you refund it, you may be stuck having to pay full price again whenever you come back around.

Fact is, these things will get fixed given just a little time. If you know you're going to want to play it, just hang tight for now.
7800XT and no issue whatsoever

I got a 7900xtx. Had screen tearing and a few fatal errors at the start. Here are my settings. Maybe they work for you. After if they don't perhaps try the 25.1.1 drivers they may work better for the 6000 line. They wrecked mine and I had to revert to 24.12.1.

When you OPEN the game go to OPTIONS > Graphics BEFORE you even start.

Get rid of any variable dynamic yadda yadda. It's not working well . I think this was the cause of my screen tearing and fatal errors.

DISPLAY MODE -> Windowed and then choose 1080p or 1440p. For native 4K you are going to need over your 12GB of VRAM. Lord GabeN help anyone who has an 8GB card or less with this game. Then you can go back to Borderless Fullscreen.

LOCK the framerate 30 or 60fps. Try 60fps first as it is a natural fit with monitors.

DISPLAY SYNC TECHNOLOGY - Change from VRR to VSYNC (for some reason it does not like Freesync and VRR even though it's an AMD tech and an AMD card and if you have a Freesync monitor to do exactly that)

Set the DYNAMIC RESOLUTION SCALING Min/Max to BOTH 100%

Anti Aliasing - change from TAAU to TAA. No upscaling stretchy low res textures.

___

In Adrenaline Software which is directly talking with the driver outside the application.

RADEON CHILL enabled between 60-75fps. Goal is again tell the card do that 60fps
ENHANCED SHARPENING - ENABLED @ 90% (you can move how you want on that)

ADVANCED

AntiAliasing - Enhance application (you can try OVERIDING app, but I've found not necessary)
AA Method - Adaptive with Morphological ENABLED
Tesselation Mode - AMD Optimized
OpenGL Triple Buffering - ENABLED (it's an alt v-sync mode for OpenGL don't know if it does anything here, but it hasn't hurt)

Good luck. Hope it gets some stability for you.
For everyone that provided advice I do appreciate it. I will attempt some of the fixes this weekend. Thanks again.

Your GPU is equal to an RTX 2080 which is OK. With the poor optimizations in the game, I wouldn't expect anything good with that GPU... not that it's a bad GPU, but this game won't be top notch on it. However, that's not a 4K GPU. So hopefully, you aren't trying to do 4K. With how this game was ported, you should be sticking to 1080p or 1440p on that GPU (assuming a 16x9 aspect ratio)

You're trying to run this on an integrated gpu ?
If so, yes, you should return it. Even if you'd get it to work, you'll probably have a pretty terrible experience.

What's the error exactly ? Your post has no usable information besides what I mentioned about GPU.

Yeah, if you're running purely integrated graphics, you're probably out of luck.
Damn so since this is a laptop do I need a whole new computer

It says dx12 is not supported on your systems try running without dx12 or d3d12 command line argument

Your original post is right, though. Keep that refund button ready. If you get close to two hours, you need to make a choice.
