Settings and Tweaks from stuttering to butter-smooth
Hello, I had the same problems like most people (game stuttering, crashing, softlocks, camera turning lags or freezes etc.) and tried most of the suggestions and "fixes".
My game is now running super smooth without lags and it didnt crash in the last 10 hours.

So while this might probably not help everybody, cause there seem to be several problems with the game, also with different hardware, here is what it completely fixed it for me at least:

Hardware: Ryzen 9800X3D, 32GB DDR5-6000, 2 TB Crucial T700 M.2, B650E-F Wifi Gaming, RTX 3080 10 GB (waiting to be upgraded hopefully soon). Playing on 3440x1440 (UWQHD - the VRAM usage is around 90% with high texture quality).

NVIDIA Driver: turn GSYNC and VSYNC ON globally (OFF in the game itself), cap the game FPS at driver level (75 fps for me in a game-specific profile, no need to cap it globally), Switch Low Latency mode to ultra (this should also cap your fps for all games a bit lower than your monitor refresh rate, if you are not using reflex).

Rebar: Turn resizable Bar OFF globally with nvidia inspector (yes, it seems to cause stuttering). I think you can turn it on with a game specific profile, but the global ON setting seem to cause stutters for me!?

Direct Storage: Prevent loading pop-ins and softlock-crashes by replacing the two very outdated direct storage dlls with their newest version (like from https://www.nuget.org/packages/Microsoft.Direct3D.DirectStorage --> rename to zip)

Mods I installed: UltrawideSupport (for my monitor) which also lets you change the FOV ("FF7RebirthFix") and "Fantasy Optimizer" which optimizes shader compilation and assets streaming. I didnt install a reshade mod yet, cause it seems to drop frames lower considerably on my old 3080 RTX.

It's butter smooth with no frame drops and I'm surprised how well and stable my RTX 3080 can run it in 3440x1440 now. All ingame settings are maxed (100%/100% Scaling, Everything High with Background Textures very High to avoid camera movement lag spikes). AA is DLAA (DLSS turned on).

So some settings are probably tweaked by the mod, cause without it I couldnt even run it with stable fps in mid-settings. Graphics Quality seems to be very good though.

If you are desperate like me, to get the game running, maybe this can help you.
