are you playing with a controller or mouse and keyboard?

If keyboard, these are the keybinds i use and managed to score S in first two songs :3

If you only need A score, right hand notes are enough and it should be relatively easy to do

thank you so much this will def help me a bunch! :FF7Rflower:
It's laughably bad on controller. I get so many wrong adjacent notes trying to move that stick around. Then again how do you come up with a way to make this work on a controller I don't know. It seems way too hard in general. They should have probably simplified that a lot and done something more akin to rhythm games.

Practice makes perfect.

You can also just do them later or skip them entirely. Don't feel obligated to 100% everything.
Meh, I used a controller on PS5 when the game first came out. I'd just focus on tracking dual targets and prioritizing the hand with more things to track during a song because the left and right circles don't have the same number of notes displayed at once. Generally the right circle has more objects to track but you still need to have at least reflex level tracking on the left to keep your score high. A couple songs toward the end of the game took about half a dozen tries but generally I was able to get an A after practicing the song once.
So it's a rhythm game?

Max the notes speed! way better at least for me. Also helps if you panic sometimes because the notes will always likely immediately land on great. Honestly, I feel like it would be incredibly hard in controller but I feel like the game is forgiving enough that notes that I think misses actually still hits great.

Gah I'm so curious
Ok I'm working it out on the controller. Don't ever hold the stick, just "click" it quickly into the direction and let it go instantly. Staccato playing I guess, in the music world :D

There is literally a gameplay video at the top of this thread...
