Need help (with a bug?)

I cant let go (release) of the mako air purifier in chapter one, is this a bug? It says i have to press "LT" to let go of it but nothing is happening. Its not a problem of my controller since I tried using the keyboard but it also doesnt work. I also tried quiting and entering the same save file again but it didnt work

I am playing on a steam deck with bluetooth controler...with the controler cant move the purifier but when i switch on my steam deck with the controle of the deck i am able to move the purifier...

weird... for some reason my problem fixed itself the day after? I'm glad I can continue pleaying but it sure was a weird experience haha
