Then run Rebirth and do the check, and it should find them. The path may be a bit wonky or different on your system because of my drive mounting method (I'm a Linux noob)... but hopefully this is enough to find it. The operative/different part is the Steam Game ID after Compatdata (identified by navigating to the store page for each game on Steam web version.) Hope that makes sense and works for you - good luck!
And I forgot to mention, Proton basically makes an entire "fake PC"/Windows structure under each Steam Game ID... it's like a sandbox for each and every game. So theoretically you could also use this destination to figure out where to drop mods, maybe even run mod programs, injectors etc. But I'm still not clear on that all myself yet... with Remake I got mods to work, but anything like SpecialK or requiring an executable gave me fits. Not sure if I had to run under Wine with certain parameters, or there was a way to do via Steam in the same sandbox...
Awesome! Cheers!
