Why does young Tifa sound like a 40 year old woman?

The floor grates in the lab/pod room where the bars are spaced like 6 inches apart and clouds feet float on the air between them. Who would have constructed a floor like that where you have a 90% chance of breaking your ankles/legs?

How did any of these types of things make it through QA? It's insulting.

And I'm only an hour into the game.

When you own the game steam shows a little mouse above your name, it's there to make it obvious when someone either doesn't own it or has pirated it. I don't think you have any right to complain about a game you downloaded illegally.

She is clearly supposed to be young in that scene, not an adult. She does not sound young.

Given their budget, they could not have hired a younger voice actress for those lines? Or at least done some post processing to make her voice lighter and higher pitched?

She's 15 years old in the younger scenes and 20 in the present, why would they hire a different voice actor, her voice would not change much between 15 and 20. Regarding your other criticisms, you're talking about a game where a 50kg 20 year old kid is carrying around a 140kg sword.

At least buy the game not openly criticise your pirate copy.

Glory Curda voices the young Tifa in Final Fantasy VII Remake and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, different from Britt Baron who voices older Tifa in both.

Doubt that in the age of direct storage. Not to mention an elevator ride afterwards that (if anything) could be used for loading.

None of the stuff he mentioned really has to do with that.

I usually prefer Japanese subs, but when I switched, I realized I strongly preferred Barret's and Cloud's English VA. It's bitter sweet because overall, I think I like the Japanese sub better.

To be fair, the english localization in this is superb. Makes you feel like you are in a real world with real people. Whereas the japanese original feels like the standard anime protocol with all the usual japanese passiveness.
